Hunting is conducted on 3,000 acres of public land at the Shawnee State park, which is located 10 miles from the Lodge. There is a 451 acre lake within the park boundaries, which is available for recreational boating, canoeing, and fishing. The habitat at the Shawnee State Park sustains a variety of game, such as Deer, Black Bear, Grouse, Pheasant, and Rabbit. All state h unting and fishing laws and regulations apply, and all necessary licenses, tags, and/or special permits required are the sole responsibility of the hunter. The Lodge is a two story refurbished farm house that sits on 110 wooded acres. Currently the lodge can accommodate a party of six comfortably. The nearest town is approximately five miles away.  The nearest airports are Pittsburgh International Airport (105 miles away), and Washington/Dulles International Airport (145 miles away). Package includes 3 nights lodging, 3 home cooked meals a day, and local maps. |
