The Hunt

Black Bear populations are very stable and increasing every year in British Columbia.  Black Bears are found throughout the entire province.  Baiting is not allowed in BC, so the method we use is spot and stalk with a guide being with you at all times.

We hunt the majority of bears in the Spring.  This time of the year the bears are out looking for feed and mates throughout the spring days.  This hunt is very relaxing and exciting due to the variety of animals we see and the generally nice weather.

The hunt is based out of the main lodge with all the comforts of home.

Ontario Fall Bear Hunting

The Hunt

Fall means bear hunting in Ontario. We are located near the town of Dryden in central Ontario. This area holds a good number of bears which receive almost no hunting pressure from the locals. They simply do not hunt bear. Our outfitter has exclusive access to 8 sections of Crown Land and owns 6 sections of his own land. We also have thousands of acres of private land that we have permission to hunt on . All hunting is done from stands over baits. We include a cabin, baits and stands as well as Jim the guide who lives full time in the area and is the local logger. He knows these woods! Cabin has full time electric, refrigerator, all cooking utensils and wood heat. The best part of our bear hunt is that we also include fishing and later in the year even duck and grouse hunting at no extra charge. This is a true Canadian adventure! We will keep you busy all day. Tags are available over the counter and we only allow maximum of 4 hunters per week. We usually have around 8 different baits set miles apart to assure we are pulling in many different bears. We hunt for one week periods from Saturday to Saturday. We usually start the last week in August and continue through all of September. We have stands for both rifle and bow hunters. ONTARIO FALL WOLF HUNT

The Hunt

We hunt wolves out of the same stands that we use for bear. The wolves are often attracted to the bear baits and it is possible to shoot both from the same stand. Wolf season currently opens on 15 September and after this date we offer bear and wolf combination hunts. Tags are available for both over the counter. At this time we also hut grouse and waterfowl as well as fish. Our stands are set up for both rifle and archery. This is probably your best chance to take a wolf with a bow. Very exciting to have a pack of these predators under your tree!!

ONTARIO WHITETAILS HUNT

The Hunt

Our deer hunting operation takes place near Dryden Ontario. This is a very unique area. Unlike much of Southern Ontario, which is covered in timber and has scattered populations of deer, our area has a very high density. Many years ago farming was tried here. The farming failed but left many thousands of acres of cleared land that is presently used for hay or just let to grow wild. This has created the ideal habitat for whitetails with mixed forest and open fields. We hunt private land exclusively and only allow 4 hunters each week. This keeps pressure low and trophy quality high. Success rate run near 90% o quality bucks. Cabin with full time electric and wood heat are provided. We have all cooking utensils as well as the stands already in place. The best part of the hunt here is that we are able to hunt all phases of the rut. Season usually opens 31 October and we will hunt from Saturday to Saturday through November. Deer are moving and both breeding and feeding heavily during this time. Quebec Spring Bear Hunting

The Hunt

Our spring bear hunts are extremely successful. We have many bears in the area and they are out of hibernation and very hungry! We hunt from stands over bait with both rifle and bow. Success rates are near 95%. our bear hunts include accommodations at our lodge with or without meals. We have cabins that have full cooking facilities and offer fishing at this time of year as well. General season is last two weeks of may and all of June. Come and enjoy a great adventure in the North woods. and take home a nice bear for the freezer!
